Unhappiness doesn't come from life or from the experiences and situations that come our way. Unhappiness comes from the expectations, feelings and hopes we hold on to.
Pain, loss, grief, unhappiness, sadness, feeling down are all a part of human existence. They are all part of the beautiful, fragile, joyous human condition and come to all of us.
There is a need and a wisdom in accepting this and knowing that some or all of these experiences and new directions will come our way at some stage in our life journey.
Our healing, happiness and recovery depends on how well we welcome these 'difficult' times into our life. How we dwell on them, abide with them, accept them, learn from them and, most certainly, in how well we can 'let them go'.
Loss and pain are not signs of failure, that you are not doing well or not a good person. There is no failure, just feedback and lessons learned. Lessons Learned from a lived life.
We can become unwell. Sometimes seriously. It's the natural course for living beings.
People leave. It's not you. Even if you couldn't be what someone wanted, it's not you. People come into our life for a reason, a purpose but not always for a lifetime. Let go.
